Your rear tail light is essential for safe
driving not only to inform drivers that you are stopping or turning but
it also illuminates the back of the vehicle. The outer cover can become
cracked or broken easily, and take on moister potentially leading to
bulb failure. Not only does a damaged or missing unit look bad but maybe
a violation of local and state laws or required to pass inspection. The
days of being able to replace only the outer lens are all but gone due
to the way they are manufactured. The lens is glued or fused to the
inner housing, so a complete unit is the only option. They are as simple
to install as changing a bulb. 1) Open tailgate to gain access to the
two screws on the side of the lamp. 2) Once screws are removed pull the
lamp straight out. 3) Unlatch the sockets from the backside by squeezing
the tabs. If the wiring harness and sockets are included, then simply
disconnect the junction block. Our brand new high quality assemblies are
ready to install and retain factory fit, function and appearance with
cost savings. |
